Adrift in the sea of possibilities.

I studied Systems Design Engineering at uWaterloo. Founded an AI for material science startup (Direct Atomics) that failed to reach PMF. Worked on a lightweight, writable alternative to graph Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG). Built AI content detection using transformers at Cloudflare early 2022 (before LLMs were hip). And did a bunch of product/design/swe internships at the Air Force, Wind River, and Blackberry.

This is the latest snapshot of my personality archetype.

Some things I believe in:

• Mouth closed, don't get fed.
• Desperation never served anybody. Suffering is a choice.
• Life is too short to play zero-sum games (ex status).
• Kindness isn't niceness. Signaling virtue is a vice.
• Character is grace when the chips are down.
• Most people don't change their minds.
• Be a hyperrealist. Dreams + Reality + Determination = A Successful Life.
